EDUCATION SERVICES

Software:

An Apple music software specialist, I've been a certified trained since Logic 6. I teach courses for the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program, Discovery Tools and Crywolf Training as well as work with private clients.

I've authored six Logic Studio tutorial DVDs for Groove3.com: Music Production Volume 1, Logic Operator Vols. 1 and 2, MainStage 2 Explained, Soundtrack Pro 3 Explained and Logic Score Editor Explained.

I founded and lead the Seattle Logic User Group. I also give classes and tutor individuals on Soundtrack Pro, MainStage and GarageBand.

 

Music:

I've taught guitar for over 30 years - all styles. I spent over 20 years in the Shoreline Community College music department teaching private and group guitar lesson and running (and arranging for) a guitar ensemble.

I work with musicians on improv, theory, and ear training. I strive to get these all integrated. Here what you play, understand why it works. I'm also a chord melody specialist, for those interested in that jazz guitar idiom.

I also help musicians on their composition projects, assisting with writing, arranging and orchestration as needed.
